seeking balance ...as we drive the car or ride a bike or go through life's blind turns and even eventless paths ...all we need to do to stay the course is maintain balance. Neither lean right or left...just stay centered. But that's the tough part. Especially when it comes to emotional balance. Life's goal is the pursuit of many down the ages- peace, joy, bliss, happiness, weaath, health and so on....but all that come and go...well change is the one true happening thing....but when you can balance your mind and keep that spirit level centered you will feel right and confident. Things will happen, people and situations will change...perspective will change and emotions will rage - but as soon as you are tilting left or right towards a fall you will have to gather yourself and put yourself back to the center. That's balance . The yin and yang principle of the orient and the zero concept and also the 12th chapter of the Gita talk about this balance alone.
stay the course. you are your best friend and worst enemy. your mind is with you or pulling you down. center and balance the mind and your thoughts will fall in line. Just like riding or driving it takes a lot of practie and you will get better at it. keep working at that and one day you will drive the course of life with ease and balance.
